For the third time in a row, Third of Life is the recipient of the Innovation Award for Ergonomics

Third of Life was awarded the Innovation Award for Ergonomics by the Institute for Health and Ergonomics (IGR) for the third time in a row.

In a conversation with the chairman of the IGR, Mr. Christian Brunner, the importance of the award as recognition of a company's work in the field of ergonomics was once again emphasized. The IGR was founded as an association in the 1990s with a project "Back School" to prevent posture problems in children and adolescents.

The Innovation Award for Ergonomics was created from the desire of many companies to establish an area for ergonomics and thereby express recognition for work in this field. The jury to determine the most deserving applicants consists of 8 members. They gather information about the companies, as long as the applicants are not already known from other projects, through various media, including information from the internet. The focus is especially on how the topic of ergonomics is implemented and communicated in all areas of a company. After evaluating all points awarded in the different categories, the winner is determined. The Innovation Award for Ergonomics is not an award for a single product but for the entire company, the entire activity, the entire information and performance that the company has presented externally in the field of ergonomics during the year.

Third of Life has received this award for the third time because the focus is on regeneration with suitable solutions for good sleep and also with special tailored solutions especially in the pillow area. The shaped solutions clearly address this specific issue. Many people sleep poorly due to various conditions. People long for restful sleep. Therefore, the IGR has recognized for the third time in a row that at Third of Life, we have made it our mission to create the optimal conditions for this.

When asked how important sleep should be considered, Mr. Brunner strongly emphasized its importance, also for himself. Good sleep is crucial for the body's recovery. Disturbing factors that affect sleep, such as coffee before bedtime or a phone next to the head, should be avoided as much as possible. Mr. Brunner shared a valuable tip that he has followed for years to prepare for his sleep: calmly reflect on the day once more and make a short journal entry. You can also find more tips on how to prepare for your night's rest in the official Third of Life Sleep Coaching.

We would like to thank Mr. Brunner and the IGR once again for recognizing our work, as well as our entire team for their outstanding performance. We will continue to focus all our efforts on creating the right solutions for our customers.

Technology provides an ideal sleeping climate through integrated climate zones. The VentiFill Active fiber filling is breathable and moisture-regulating. The duvet consists of 3 layers that can be combined depending on the season, keeping you ideally covered all year round. For cold feet, the duvet also offers a special surprise: an optional separate warming layer can be added in the foot area.

LISA mattress protector with sidewalls, 100% waterproof and suitable for allergy sufferers

The mattress protector shields the mattress from liquids all year round, ensuring a perfect sleeping climate. Sleep Better with Improved Temperature Management – Here’s How

Anyone who is too warm or too cold at night sleeps more restlessly – everyone feels that immediately. But temperature is much more than a matter of comfort: it actively controls how deep and restorative our sleep is. Studies have shown for years that the body falls asleep best when it can efficiently release excess heat and the core body temperature slightly drops.
